Lisa Nilsson and her band visited Finland in Helsingfors and Åbo during 29.-30.3.2014 as a part of her “Sånger om oss”- concert tour (named after her new album) in Finland and Scandinavia during March and April.
Lisa Nilsson has been much loved singer, artist and songwriter in the Nordic countries and elsewhere during the past 20 years since her first appearance in Sweden with her soft and mellow tone performing smoothly jazz, samba, soul and schlager music.
She moved in 2004 to Brazil and had some relaxed time. She prepared her Hotel Vermont 609-album in Brazil and published it in November 2006 – and it was one of the best of her albums and it was very well received among her audiences and fans. Now Lisa Nilsson, 43, has found back her power and enthusiasm. Lisa Nilsson’s 9th studio album ”Sånger om oss” was published last autumn being also the title of her present concert tour.
Lisa Nilsson started her concert at Finlandia House in Helsingfors by inviting her audience into her ”living room” singing first two pieces of her album by lying down in her sofa. Her show was like a small musical of her beloved music and songs with jazz and schlager style including some stand-ups and tales on her family, parents, motherhood and even jokes on the royal family.
Among her songs naturally were mentioned her sångs with Aki Sirkesalo – ”Säg det igen” and ”Mysteriet” which she sang now alone. ”Monolog” was also impressive as well as ”Du, kom inte närmare” and ”Varje gång jag ser dig”. Other songs like ”Himlen runt hörnet” and ”Viola”. The concert ended with the title sång ”Sången om oss”. Nice concert.
